If you’ve ever seen MTV’s show, “Pimp My Ride”, then you are undoubtedly familiar with pimped out cars. Pimped out cars are cars that have been accessorized and enhanced and are the epitome of the words, “Bling Bling”. Some features that are sure to draw attention and are frequently seen on pimped out cars include chrome wheels, iced interiors, and jacked up sound systems. Many pimped out cars will have added gold trim, white wall tires, tinted windows, velour seats in varying colors, patterns, and styles, license plates that have been adorned with neon lights, fuzzy dice or other appendages that hang from the rear view mirror, custom paint jobs, including metallic paints or patterns that represent the car owners individuality and style, hood ornaments that are decorative, and sound systems that have no treble but plenty of bass.
A car that has been pimped is a car that would be typical for a pimp or pimpess to ride in. This means that the car has been embellished and is flashy. However, the owner of the car will put as much of his or her own personal tastes and preferences into the car, that the car will truly be a one of a kind, original.
People love their cars and for those who have invested the time, money, and creative energy into pimping theirs, they love to have their cars displayed and admired. It won’t take very long for word to spread about your new ride, and soon people will be coming in droves to check out your new machine. There is an urban image that goes along with a pimped car, but more people are choosing to pimp their cars no matter what their personal tastes or genres are. Flash, style, and plenty of bling are key to making your pimped car a success. |
